Spring Photography Class - Off to a great start!
Last night, Al and I started our "Spring Photography Class" - a 10-week course, dedicated to learning all about photography. We will be talking about composition, lighting, exposure, techie-stuff (aperture, shutter speed, ISO), posing, post processing, and much more.
We had an overwhelming response to the course, which we were SUPER excited about, and capped the number of students at 15.
Last night, we had a fantastic time getting to know one other, talking about our strengths, weaknesses, goals and ambitions. Everyone taking the course is already taking some amazing photographs! We had a "show and tell" last night, and I was totally blown away by some of the work I was seeing! I am so excited to see everyone grow and learn!

We went out, briefly, across the street from the studio, to practice some of the things that we had discussed.
Here, I was showing the use of negative space
Here, we've got some crazy-awesome leading lines
And in this one (although not a GREAT shot), it shows a great use of leading lines. Our eyes have no where to go but to the lovely ladies
