Jamie + Katie: It's Devotion!

Yesterday, Al and I drove on up to good ol' Toronto for Katie and Jamie's wedding. We don't shoot in Toronto enough, so we were really excited to photograph at some different locations.

We started off with Katie and the gal's at The Grand hotel. What a beautiful place!

Looking great ladies!

This is one of my favorite shots from the day. So candid and relaxed and fun!

After hanging out with the gals, we took off to get all set-up at the church. Now, when I say church, I mean CHURCH. This is a church nothing like anything we've ever shot at! It was absolutely, 100% drop dead breathtaking.

All of those "pictures" on the roof - those are all hand-painted drawings. Wowsers!

And look at it from the outside! WHEW!

It was raining, so the guys had to escort Katie in.

After the ceremony and receiving line, we were totally planning on going over to the Law Society (Jamie and Katie are both lawyers) for some photos, but on the way there, we were stopped by protestors. We decided just to head over to the Burkley Church (where the reception was) for photos instead - which didn't disappoint!

Something that I don't post enough of on this blog are candid photos (look out for an upcoming post on the topic of candid photos). So, I thought that I would post some of the photojournalistic images that I captured throughout the reception.
