Photography is about capturing moments, and documenting the moments in your lives that matter the most to you. It is about creating memories with those who are special to you, and freezing those memories forever.

Ingrid and John had planned just that. They had a group of their friends (8 other couples) get together on a Saturday evening for a beautiful night of wine tasting, delicious food, and great company. They asked us to be part of the evening to document those moments, those memories, and those people who matter most to them.

Enjoy some of our favourite photographs taken throughout the evening, at 13th Street Winery. The meal was prepared by Stephen Treadwell, whom we have had the pleasure of working with several times this year.

The end of our beautiful fall colours is upon us, unfortunately. We had a GREAT fall and many amazing portrait sessions. I currently have 8 sessions back-logged for blogging (keep your eyes posted later today for 3 of those sessions), but I thought that I would start the day off right with a beautiful portrait of Jonas. Jonas is the son of Christina and David, who's wedding we photographed in 2008.

I am out for two more portrait sessions today, and in between, I will be blogging some images from the past couple week's portrait sessions. I appreciate everyone who I have photographed over the past while being so patient with me blogging their images ... lots of great stuff in the pipe!

Last Friday, I had the pleasure of photographing Rob, Amy, Noah and Gracie Hill. We hung out at Balls Falls, had some great fun, and created some really nice reportage-style images for them.

Last week, we finished off the "wedding" chapter of Michelle and Matt's photographic journey with us. Michelle found this AWESOME barn up in Halton Region, and it was the perfect location for a trash-the-dress.

Last Friday, I got together with Amy, Megan, Katie and their mother, and photographed the Holmes girls. I photographed Amy and Kerry's wedding, at Amy's parent's cottage, a month and a half ago, and we really clicked well with their family. They all have such a caring, fun, and outgoing attitude towards life!

Thanks for coming down, ladies. I am sure that your Dad will LOVE these images!
