Saturday, we spent the day with Amy and Eric and their family and friends. For the fourth weekend in a row, it was forecasting rain, but the weatherman was wrong again and we got beautiful weather with a very welcomed breeze.

We photographed two very beautiful weddings this weekend, wanted to share two quick "teasers".

We are out of the studio on Monday, giving a seminar in Elmira, Ontario (just North of London, Ontario) all about album design, and will be back on Tuesday.

Where do I even start with Meghan and Allen? They are fun, relaxed, beautiful, smart and totally in love. They are the kind of couple that you can't help but fall in love with. Al and I really connected with them and we had a really wonderful time with their families on Saturday.

Meghan and Allen booked our "Fusion" package, which includes a fusion piece. We cannot wait to share that with everyone! For the time being, however, please enjoy a few of our favourite images from their wedding day.

When we sit down to plan our engagement sessions out with our couples, we always encourage them to make it "fun, personal and unique". It's one of the things that a lot of our couples really love that we do - incorporate THEM into their sessions.

Maybe you have a coffee shop that you love to go to together; let's go there for some fun engagement portraits! Maybe you have a dog that you "parent" together; let's bring him out with your engagement portraits! Maybe you have a boat in Port Dalhousie that you cruise on; let's go out on that for your engagement portraits!

Ada and Chris did just that - made it entirely and completely unique. They are big into couple's yoga, and so they wanted to bring some of that fun into their session.

In planning our own wedding over the past year and a half, we have really learned to appreciate not only all of the hard work and planning that our couples go through, but also the value of hiring wedding professionals whom we both trust and respect.

There are so many tiny little details to take care of for a wedding, and a lot of them can be very easily overlooked. It is also very easy to become overwhelmed when looking at everything all at once (I'll admit that it's happened a couple of times). When you hire professionals to take care of you on your wedding day that you know, trust, and have a great relationship with, all of the stress and worry disappears, and your perfect day can come to fruition.

We met up with Angelica (Simply Beautiful Decor) and Mandy (MyBouquet) this morning to go over all of the final details for floral/decor. To say that we are "giddy" is an understatement! Everything is coming together so perfectly, and we couldn't be happier.

Pauline even put together a bit of a sample bouquet/centerpiece for us. It isn't final, as they still have to add some of our soft-pink colors, but it gives you an idea. They even let us take it home with us to adore and love. Here are a few photographs of it that I took on our (new) dining room table.

Less than 4 weeks to go and we will be Mr. and Mrs. Caporicci. How exciting! We love going through this with our couples, and once we have gone through it, we will have such a better understanding and appreciation for our future couples.
