This Fall is shaping up to be very action-packed, and so I apologize on being a little bit behind on blogging. I have a total of 4 weddings and 5 portrait sessions to blog, and we have 8 sessions scheduled this week. We love the fall time!

We are going to slowly release some sneak-peeks here on the blog, over the next week, so keep your eyes posted, every day!

I met up this morning with Katie and Danny for an engagement portrait session. Katie and Danny are actually from Atlanta, and they were making a trip up to Niagara for a weekend-getaway.

We had a great time hanging out, and we had some absolutely beautiful weather for the session.

This is just the start of the crazy fall sessions that we will be experiencing in the weeks to come. Our dates are almost all full, so if you'd like to book in a session (either family, engagement, model, etc) before we loose all of the leaves, give us a call or e-mail us as soon as you can!

Nathan and Cortney came up all the way from West Virginia for a weekend-away in Niagara-on-the-Lake. They found me via the web and fell in love with my relaxed, romantic and fresh style of photography and decided to have me join them for an afternoon while they were here for some engagement photographs.

Thanks so much to Eva at the Grand Victorian for being so accommodating, and all the staff at Reif Estate Winery for letting us have the run of the place for the photographs. We created some really amazing images for them that I know Cortney and Nathan will forever cherish.

I am a big supporter of shopping local. I always prefer to use local services, give local businesses my hard-earned-dollars, and support the local economy. I am also a big believer in getting involved in the community and making a difference from the inside-out.

I am on the Board of Directors for the Pelham Business Association; the one-and-only association in Pelham for local businesses. My portfolio for the past few months (since I joined) was the "Communications Director", where I am heading up business-to-community communication and marketing.

A project that we are starting very soon is our "Did You Know" Campaign; a marketing campaign (through social media and the local newspapers) where we will de-bunk some of the myths that Pelham residents may have about local businesses, and also to encourage Pelham residents to shop local.

We had our Pelham Business Association Annual General Meeting two evenings ago, and I presented this campaign to the membership and there was a great amount of positive feedback on it. We are all looking forward to working together to help grow and educate.

Sarah Murrell, the editor for the Voice of Pelham was present at the AGM, and wrote a great story on the campaign and what it is going to entail. Check it out here.
